Managing emotions after lockdown

As we ease back out of lockdown, there is a lot to think about. Lockdown has impacted our mental and physical health in different ways and with restrictions being eased we need to give ourselves time to adjust to the changes. You might feel anxious, feel apprehensive about getting out and about or you might feel worried about being in contact with other people again, and you are not alone in those feelings.


Your life is going so fast, there are just not enough hours in the day, your busy at work, busy at home. If this mental frustration is getting the best of you, you might want to give meditation a try.

Stress is one of the number one causes for disease, burnout and depression. Most of us are feeling stressed every single day without even realizing it. It became the norm.

The busier you are, the more important it is to manage stress levels and meditation is a useful tool to use.

Week 2  – Using the breath as a Therapeutic Tool.

Week 3 – Learn to reduce the anxiety using Diaphragmatic breathing. 

Week 4 – How to calm yourself in a stressful situation

Week 5 – Learn how to use your maximum lung health.

Week 6 – Bringing it all together – Review of all breathing techniques. 

Friday 11am -12.30 – Free for those in Bath and North East Somerset Council (BANES)
